Ashley Howard lives her passion and is blessed to call teaching Pilates and yoga her job. She is a certified personal trainer, Pilates and yoga instructor. She balances Vinyasa Flow and sculpting Pilates Reformer classes with Urban Zen Practices to help renew, rebuild and restore one’s body and mind.
Ashley decided to make fitness her career ten years ago when she chose to be healthy. For her this meant completely changing her diet, learning how to cook, and following her inner wisdom that told her she should pursue fitness and nutrition. Many certifications, workshops, classes, and years later she is just as inspired as she was when she started in this business.
She affirms that the healthier she is then the more she can help and be of service to others. Not only does she motivate and inspire her clients and the community, but it is her two children that she teaches daily about health being a choice. She practices what she preaches and that energy is what her clients find so infectious. She is certain that your health is worth the effort, because you are worth the effort.
For her it comes down to self-love. Through yoga and Pilates she found clarity, freedom and acceptance. She lives her life with integrity, being present in the joyous moments and aware in the sorrowful ones; knowing thatin order to really be alive you must feel all the fluctuations life has to offer.
If she is not playing with her family at the lake, mountains or beach then she is teaching others how to find their own strength, power and love.
“Believe inyourself and all that you do. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.” Christian D Larson
In 2006 Jenn Sartor went to a yoga class with a friend and never looked back. She was hooked from the very first class and started a daily practice almost immediately. After several years of yoga practice she was in traumatic car accident which left her with a new, less able body. Yoga helped her overcome her physical injuries and supported her through the healing process. During the physical healing she completed a 250-hour tradition of yoga and philosophy course. She went on to complete the YogaWorks 200 and 500-hour programs accompanied by a 6 month apprenticeship with the emphasis on Restorative, Therapeutic, and Vinyasa Yoga. She then continued her education with a 50-hour Yin Yoga immersion. Jenn's classes are well-rounded and light-hearted with emphasis on alignment, breath work and listening to your body.
